Hi,

I'm pleased to see so much discussion on Solar water heating on this site as I've just had a call from a hotel who want to install solar water heating to suppliment their boilers. I see there has been some discussion on estimating hot water usage and hence size of system required but does anyone know of any form of 'ready reckoner' to help tranlate variables such as number of bedrooms, occupancy rate, period of opening etc into an approximate size of system and hence rough cost? Obviously the cost will only be a guestimate as it will be very depandant on integrating with existing systems but at least it would pin down the capital cost somewhat.
