How much will it cost me to take part in Hospitable Climates?

Nothing - its free of charge and what's more you may well end up saving thousands of pounds off your energy bill. All that is required to take part is a bit of time to fill in the simple registration form and then a commitment from you that you will sign up to doing more about energy efficiency in your hotel.

How secure and confidential is the information that I give to Hospitable Climates?

Very secure. The information that we hold about your premises and the energy benchmarking reports that are generated for your use can only be accessed using your password. This information will not be given out to any third party. The energy specific information that you submit will be anonymously included in the industry wide data for preparation of the benchmark calculations.

How do I benchmark my Hotel's energy performance?

Visit the HEATonline page which will then take you through the process that you need to follow in order to benchmark your hotels/pubs performance.

What Information do I need in order to complete the Hospitality Energy Analysis Tool Online?

Visit the HEATonline page then click to sign up for Hospitable Climates. You will also be given an option of downloading and printing out a blank registration form on which to collect your data.

How long does Benchmarking with Hospitable Climates take?

Once you have collected all of your data on the blank form it should take less than 40 minutes to enter the information online. Once entered the information will be stored on our system so that when you come to enter the information in subsequent years only minimal changes will be required - we estimate that this will then only take about 10 minutes.

How do I get additional/new copies of the Energy Measures Fact Files.
