Spring will soon be with us and before we get too busy, now is a good time to carry out all those spring-cleaning tasks which will help us to become more energy-efficient. Lamp shades and diffusers will emit far more light when clean and free from dust and grease. Compressors and condensers on fridges and freezers will breathe more easily if brushed clean with a vacuum cleaner. Filters on ventilation systems will let foul air out more readily. Efficient, well-maintained equipment works better and uses less energy. |
